“Along with many of my colleagues, I stand in opposition of the Religious Freedom Rights Act (RFRA). Simply, we have reached an age in our Nation where the sexual orientation of our people should not hinder their quality of living as US citizens. The LGBT community deserve protections, therefore I will oppose any law that could allow for any discrimination onto any of our fellow Hoosiers.”
“As a lifelong Eastsider, I have witnessed the desertion of investment leaving the Eastside. If you travel down East Washington Street, you will see vacant major businesses, malls, and housing - which is simply unacceptable. I intend to work hard in collaborating with the City, local citizens, and investors, to revitalize our local economic development. We need to do better to bring jobs back.”
