We should include our young people in the process as much as possible. We make decisions on who will be in charge and what kind of policies will govern our children as they attend school, but we seldom ask them for their opinions or needs. I believe a greater effort needs to be made to educate and include parents AND children who are nearing voting age on what is happening among their leaders.

Mr. Zahn makes $72,000 a year to manage our tax dollars. He spent hundreds of thousands of dollars in Festivities for people from other states while we have people without jobs and hungry. He took over $400,000 allocated for the Hispanic Resource Center and used elsewhere. As the Vice-treasurer for 1Love United Methodist Church I guard God's money and I can do the same for your tax dollars!

We all choose who we want as our leaders. The key is to put people in power who will not let pride or position get in the way of doing what’s right. We must listen to each other…our neighbors, our community leaders, even our children. No one has all of the answers. We should be about coming up with comprehensive solutions that works for all.
