As part of my mission for entrepreneurship, my administration is working on strategic investment for a business incubator and entrepreneurship center. We are working with area colleges and universities to create a Connersville Development Center as a jump start into the Gig economy. We want to attract a new group of residents who have a vision for the millennium economy.

Entrepreneurship is the lifeblood of capitalism. As Mayor I want the City of Connersville to lead the way in new job creation by making opening businesses easier. I want to assist when needed and get out of the way when government doesn't need to be involved. Creating new ventures and new capital investment is how we grow as a City. 80% of growth comes from within and we want to make it easier.

The best steps that Michigan can take to help spur entrepreneurship are reforming licensing requirements, a reduction in state income taxes for everyone, and ending state business subsidies. Because small businesses create most new jobs, we need to treat all industries equally and not protect any company or industry from free market competition.
