Replace old galvanized pipes

Many older homes still maintain the original galvanized pipe that was installed when the house was built. Usually these pipes used to provide water service, start at the water meter to a faucet or water main valve before entering the house and the vast majority of these pipes are corroded galvanized and semi - clogged by rust, which makes it necessary that counties implement programs to inform and assist residents to replace those old galvanized pipes that supply water to their homes.

I am strongly agree that it should replace all galvanized pipes that provide water service to homes, because they are damaged and pose a high risk to consumer health . I propose that counties implement programs to make an inventory of homes that still have these galvanized pipes, then inform affected residents and even help with funds or personnel to replace the pipes .
