Hemp has many industrial uses & those should be allowed for expansion of Green Building Methods - My understanding is that the use of hemp not only promotes green farming & construction material but may in fact cost less This does need to be looked at as an option for our Agricultural & Construction Green Building Goals

The industrialization of hemp is critical for more durable construction materials like HempCrete which can last more than 100 years and is as strong as concrete; This is the ideal solution to rebuild flooded homes by installing hempcrete on the walls and then stucco or tile which will save reconstruction in the event of another flood thus creating millions of jobs for a self-sustained economy!
