Fracking

Fracking involves blasting huge amounts of water, sand and chemicals deep into underground rock formations to access valuable oil and natural gas. While this is a form of alternative energy, it also has harmful environmental implications, influencing local air pollution, earthquakes and, especially, clean water supply.

I support increased development of clean and renewable energy such as solar, wind, geothermal & hemp biomass for heating. The root of the problem with fracking is The Federal Water Pollution Act -- the modern Clean Water Act and the Halliburton Loophole manipulated by Vice President Dick Cheney's legislation introduced in the 2005 Energy Policy Act giving fracking a free ride. I will repeal it.

Fracking causes more long term damage than any other form of human caused damage. I support a worldwide moratorium on all forms of Hydraulic fracturing.

Hydraulic Fracking is intensive and riskier than conventional drilling, making the process more dangerous than ever. Fracking brings rampant environmental and economic problems to communities across the country.

We need to end fracking and the TPP. Have you heard of Blue Diesel? Google it! Audi has developed a way to run our cars on blue diesel, which is a petrol alternative which used water and carbondioxide to power our vehilcles. I believe we should research bringing alternative fuels like this into our community so we can heal our planet.
