The decision of how and where to educate one's children is one of the most important decisions that a parent can make in their child's lifetime. Parents must be given choices about where to educate their children in addition to the option of home schooling. Without choice, parents have no real authority. And, without alternatives, schools cannot effectively be held accountable.

Rather than pick a school for a child to attend regardless of zoning, I think the effort should be made to make schools better in every zone. Unless a student issue such as disability warrants choosing a new school, students should attend their zone school. Instead of advertising choice, we should be providing teachers better resources and upgrading facilities to make every school worth attending.

I am pro education, but anti vouchers for public school. It will take public school funding away from the student who needed it the most. Therefore, Public/ Government fund must not be used as a voucher for public schools. No privatization of public education in form of vouchers.

Our educational journey is lifelong. We can evolve through learning, or not. No child or adult should be left behind.
