After serving in the U.S. Army, Ryan Lo’Ree came home to fight for the people of Genesee County. For over a decade, he has worked as a community organizer, leading the charge against inequality and injustice. Ryan knows the struggles of Michigan’s working class firsthand. He was born into a family of nurses and factory workers, iron workers and soldiers.
“Reinvesting IN THE WORKING CLASS Genesee County is the birthplace of worker solidarity. Although Ryan is from a family of factory and iron workers, as well as a former UAW member himself, he knows that the working class is much deeper. It’s the Farmers, the Teachers, the Nurses, the First Responders, the Waiter/Waitresses, the Bus Drivers, the skilled-trade workers. Unions protect all of this.”
