Quick Bio

I am a teacher and proud parent of two fabulous kids. I believe in compassion for our neighbors, community, and planet. I am active in Tanglewild; I co-teach Sunday School at St. Andrew's Methodist and work with the church to help those in need in our community. I believe that a true leader is a servant leader. Please vote for me as I continue to advocate for those in need. Thank you.

Infrastructure Repair & Investment

“We need a sidewalk from the middle school to Tanglewild. I fear for our children on dark, rainy afternoons as they walk home through the brambles.”

Social Justice

“I believe we all deserve the right to the pursuit of happiness and the ability to a free and sound education. ”

Fracking

“We need to end fracking and the TPP. Have you heard of Blue Diesel? Google it! Audi has developed a way to run our cars on blue diesel, which is a petrol alternative which used water and carbondioxide to power our vehilcles. I believe we should research bringing alternative fuels like this into our community so we can heal our planet.”

Immigration & Deportation

“It's so sad that Syrian refugees have had their homes destroyed. We should help shelter them and help find a way for them to go back home. My heart breaks when I see images of how bombs have driven them out of their country and the perils women and children have to face while fleeing a warzone.”

Decriminalization of Marijuana

“I'm happy marijuana has been decriminalizedited, but I don't think there should be billboards advertising recreational drugs. Just like tobacco and alcohol, we should not advertise the sale of pot to our youth.”
