“I-11 will make or break our town. We must insist that it comes as close to Hawthorne as possible and I commit to making sure the state knows our stand on this. I have been attending all I-ll hearings and will continue to do so.”

Immigration & Deportation

“I believe it is a Homeland Security Issue not having strong borders. Immigration is a privilege not a right, do it the right way. Everyone who came to this country the right way knows the laws, the constitution and the language. I support legal immigration.”

Jobs & the Jobless

“Economic Development: County government does not DO economic development, it should enable it. Storey County has the best approach and is full after 10 years, meaning those companies are now coming on down the highway to Mineral County. I believe the county must get away from the good ol' boy constraints and become business friendly. The County job is to have user-friendly codes.”
